PGL - Year 6 Residential - Day 2!
News / June 22nd 2023
Day 2 is in the books! We had a VERY busy day with 4 big activities. Our students participated in a sensory walk and buggie building in the morning. During the sensory walk, students needed to work together to get the whole class through an obstacle course in the woods... blindfolded! While in buggie building, students needed to continue the teamwork and communication skills to put together a buggie that they were able to ride - the vehical looked similar to the one in The Flintstones!
After a bit of a break and a filling lunch, we then participated in Archery Tag and swimming. Swimming in the pool was a lovely activity for the afternoon after a long day - relaxing, cooling and fun! Students learnt how to shoot arrows (with padded ends) and then played 'tag' - which was basically dodge-ball with the padded arrows. Everyone did a great job using patience to dock, aim and shoot!
